RE: H-2017-0136 MFP MADDYN SUBDIVISION
The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) has reviewed the modify final plat application by A Team Land
Consultants for Maddyn Subdivision requesting a modification of the final plat allowing approval of building
permits prior to recording the final plat for Maddyn Subdivision which is located on the south side of West
Ustick Road west of North Meridian Road, north of I-84 milepost 43.94. ITD has the following comments:
1. This property does not abut the State Highway system.
2. The City is reminded that the SH-55 corridor is already congested. This project will increase the
number of vehicle trips in those corridors. ITD has no current funding assigned to mitigate traffic
congestion in the SH-55 corridor near this location.
3. Idaho Code 40-1910 does not allow advertising within the right-of-way of any State Highway.
4. IDAPA 39.03.60 governs advertising along the State Highway system. The applicant may contact
Justin Pond, Program Manager for ITD’s Headquarters Right-of-Way Section at 334-8832 for
more information.
5. ITD does not object to this modification of the final plat application as presented.
