RE: H-2017-0135 CASTLEBRIDGE SUBDIVISION
The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) has reviewed the final plat application by Jaron Langston for
Castlebridge Subdivision consisting of 10 residential buildings and 3 common lots on a parcel located at
3475 East Falcon Drive, south of I-84 milepost 46.28. ITD has the following comments:
1. This property does not abut the State Highway system.
2. The City is reminded that the I-84 corridor is already congested. This project will increase the
number of vehicle trips in the corridor. ITD has no current funding assigned to mitigate traffic
congestion in the I-84 corridor in this area.
3. Idaho Code 40-1910 does not allow advertising within the right-of-way of any State highway.
4. IDAPA 39.03.60 governs advertising along the State highway system. The applicant may contact
Justin Pond, Program Manager for ITD’s Headquarters Right-of-Way Section at 334-8832 for
more information.
5. ITD does not object to this final plat application as presented.
