Message: I would like to express my opposition to the Linder Village development as currently designed.
Specifically, I am opposed to a new traffic signal on Chinden. Chinden's traffic is heavy now and will continue
to grow. It is a major transportation artery for the entire Treasure Valley. Adding unnecessary lights to the road
at intervals less than 1/2 mile will result in slower traffic. It is my understanding that the traffic light was part of
a bargain with Costco. Costco is no longer part of the development, so the ostensible reason for the traffic light
is now gone. Please don't let Chinden turn into the traffic nightmare that we already have in too many places.
