Up until 9 months ago, I have lived 25 years of my life in Meridian. I now live on the Meridian/Boise line and wish desperately I still lived in Meridian boundaries. It is my home! Meridian has always been a city focused on the family, the community, and the economy. I feel like this focus has been what has made us such a desirable place to live and consequently a growing and booming lo cation. However, because of this growth, grocery shopping has always been a frustration. I grew up in Meridian and Winco has been a staple, but the proximity to getting there is a complete pain. We NEED the new Winco at Linder Village. I like to do all my shopping at Winco but no longer can because it’s just too far away. The economic impact alone is enough for the city of Meridian to back this. Not to mention the jobs for the locally owned and operated company. Anyway, I feel passionate about this, just as I do the city of Meridian and the values it represents. Thanks for your time. Laura Bird 12833 W Ventana Court Boise ID 83713
