Message: We have been looking at the developments in the field just north of our home for over two years now.
While we support development, we want to see it done responsibly. Once of the reasons people have moved to
Idaho and Meridian is because they see a good thing. Good people, nice neighborhoods, Christian values.
decency, kind-hearted school teachers and administrators. They see a good place to live. Let's not change that.
When someone decides to move, they look at many factors. When we decided to move to Meridian and
Paramount s[specifically, one of the things that drew us in was the long term plan the city had in place. We
wanted a diverse development and saw it forming. Now in the five years we've been here, we have many new
neighbors and businesses. Please do what you have said you'd do. Keep 24/7 and large businesses farther away
from existing homes. You demanded that with the other corner in our section of town. Walgreen's had to adjust
their hours and be on the corner so they'd be away from existing homes. Look at doing the same things here in
the NW corner. Keep those areas annexed into Meridian in line with the FLUM. And demand that developers
are good neighbors; working with us not just for the best bottom line profit.
