Broadway Avenue Meridian, Idaho 83642 VIA EMAIL RE: H-2017-0129 EAST RIDGE ESTATES SUBDIVISION The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) has reviewed the referenced annexation, zoning, and preliminary plat applications by DevCo LLC for East Ridge Estates Subdivision consisting of 139 building lots and 7 common lots located north of East Lake Hazel and west of South Eagle Road, east of SH-69 (Meridian Road) milepost 6.25. ITD has the following comments: 1. This project does not abut the State highway system. 2. The City is reminded that the SH-69 corridor and I-84/SH-55 (Eagle Road) interchange are already congested. This project will increase the number of vehicle trips in the corridor and interchange. ITD has no current funding assigned to mitigate traffic congestion in the SH-69 corridor and I-84/SH-55 (Eagle Road) interchange in this area. 3. Idaho Code 40-1910 does not allow advertising within the right-of-way of any State highway system. 4. IDAPA 39.03.60 rules govern advertising along the State highway system.
