RE: H-2017-0114 AEGEAN SUBDIVISION
The Idaho Transportation Department has reviewed the referenced annexation, zoning, and
preliminary plat application for the Aegean Subdivision located east of North McDermott Road and
south of West McMillian Road, east of the proposed new alignment for SH-16. ITD has the following
comments:
1. This subdivision is next to the future alignment for SH-16. SH-16 at this location will be a full
access controlled highway. West McMillan Road will not have access to the SH-16 corridor.
A structure will connect West McMillan Road east and west of the new SH-16 alignment.

2. Below is the corridor study planned typical section for this section of SH-16:
3. The City is reminded about keeping costs down for constructing the highway by leaving the
new SH-16 corridor free of any major structures. At the location of this subdivision, a 300 foot
right-of-way strip is requested to remain open measured from the west right-of-way boundary of
North McDermott Road.
4. ITD does not object to a subdivision being constructed on this parcel.
