RE: H-2017-0084 SUMMERWIND SUBDIVISION
The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) has reviewed the referenced development agreement
modification application by Bridgetower Investments, LLC requesting approval of a right-in/right-out
access to North Ten Mile Road for the office lots approved with the Volterra South Subdivision and
modification of the boundary of the development agreement for Summerwind Subdivision on a parcel
located south of US-20/26 (West Chinden Boulevard) milepost 35.70. ITD has the following
comments:
1. This project does not abut the State highway system.
2. ITD does not object to the modification of the development agreement to allow a right-in/right-
out access to North Ten Mile Road for the office lots approved with the Volterra South
Subdivision
3. ITD does not object to the modification of the boundary of the development agreement for
Summerwind Subdivision.
4. The City is reminded that the US-20/26 corridor is already congested. This project will
increase the number of vehicle trips in the corridor. ITD has no current funding assigned to
mitigate traffic congestion in the US-20/26 corridor in this area.
5. Idaho Code 40-1910 does not allow advertising within the right-of-way of any State highway
system.
6. IDAPA 39.03.60 rules govern advertising along the State highway system. The applicant can
contact the ITD District 3 Traffic Section at 334-8300 for more information.
If you have any questions, you may contact Shona Tonkin at 334-8341 or me at 332-7190.
