RE: H-2017-0101 GEDDES SUBDIVISION
The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) has reviewed the final plat application by Schultz Development
for Geddes Subdivision on a parcel located on the south side of W. Ustick Rd, approximately 0.1 mile east of
N. Black Cat Rd, north of I-84, milepost 41.05. ITD has the following comments:
1. This property does not abut the State highway system.
2. The City is reminded that the I-84 and US-20/26 corridors are already congested. This project
will increase the number of vehicle trips in those corridors. ITD has no current funding assigned
to mitigate traffic congestion in the I-84 and US-20/26 corridors near this location.
3. Idaho Code 40-1910 does not allow advertising within the right-of-way of any State highway.
4. IDAPA 39.03.60 governs advertising along the State highway system. The applicant may contact
Justin Pond, Program Manager for ITD’s Headquarters Right-of-Way Section at 334-8832 for
more information.
5. ITD does not object to this final plat application as presented.
