RE: H-2017-0058 PINE 43 SUBDIVISION
The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) has reviewed the referenced applications for annexation, re-zoning,
and preliminary plat for the Pine 43 Subdivision located south of East Fairview Avenue, east of Locust Grove
Road, north of East Commercial Street, and west of Hickory Avenue, west of SH-55 (Eagle Road) milepost
12.75 for DMB Development. ITD has the following comments:
1. The project does not abut the State highway system, however, due to the large number of residences
proposed which will result in large trip generations, ITD is requesting to see a traffic impact study for
the intersections of SH-55 (Eagle Road) and East Pine Avenue, SH-55 (Eagle Road) and Fairview
Avenue, SH-55 (Eagle Road) and Franklin Road, SH-55 (Eagle Road) and Saint Lukes Street, and SH-
55 (Eagle Road) and the I-84 Westbound Ramps.
2. Idaho Code 40-1910 does not allow advertising within the right-of-way of any State highway system.
3. IDAPA 39.03.60 rules govern advertising along the State highway system. The applicant can contact
the ITD District 3 Traffic Section at 334-8300 for more information.
4. ITD does not object to the annexation, zoning change and re-zoning for the subdivision being proposed
in this location.
