HomeMy WebLinkAboutPZ -Larry Molnar 6.22I am Lawrence Molnar here to protest the request you have under consideration with Mr. Blood. Background: ® I am a retired Air Force Colonel who served in service for 30 years ® I did have many opportunities to excel during my career ® One Example: In 1973-1976 I was one of the first three salesmen for GPS. Somebody always starts what becomes significant achievements then the proclaimed heroes pop-up later. ® I moved to Idaho four years ago because my wife and I are old age now at 88, and my daughter, God Bless her, volunteered to dedicate full time to care for us. • One last background note (to be read by the board as they wish). I am now dedicating full time in a battle with the Director of the VA Hospital who is careless about the people's money. The matter is needed parking. David Wood is secretly intending to build a garage at 10 million dollars when there is a logical answer at less than 1 million with the difference applicable to much needed Hospital improvements There is a huge pond of grass fronting the Hospital. Logic says remove the grass, get out of the grass tending business, and pave it for the same type of parking the main local Hospitals have. I am the only objector for many reasons. It would be helpful if the denied public tax payers knew about the cunning nature of the Director and protest. The Speedy Quick Proposal • I say we should all agree this matter got off to a very rough, inconsiderate, un -neighborly manner on Mr. Blood's part-- an outdoor meeting of few close by neighbors on a very cold day and during the working hours of 3 PM to restrict attendance. • I do not understand the use of a relatively small wooden board as an announcer of something of interest mainly for those very close by on a roadway with a 55 mph speed limit. There was no board for notification of this Board meeting. ® Now what Mr. Blood had intended all along was setting up a lodging for a few call center personnel, but a building large enough to have an indoor garage or garages for repair or required maintenance on his business vehicles outfitted to have ladders overhead. • Then on weekends he intends to park these vehicles so the top side is viewable by all home owners on E White Spur Street using this roadway as an exit ® The vehicles are well conditioned but no matter the ladders are a spectacle and to any shrewd real-estate agent they will be a matter to challenge the value of the houses on sale or to simply give an agent an opportunity to disregard them in favor of other options. • I suggest the vehicles should be parked so they are not visible to White Spur residence at any time. ® Then Mr. Blood did disclose he intended to erect a pole (he says), but I say, from my MIT antenna education there is the possibility the top will have wings. And why not because the wings enable best transmission and reception. Question: Have all that should have been notified about the pole know there will be one? There were interested neighbors outside of 300 feet regarding the pole at the only meeting. ® Has Mr. Blood revealed in this process what and where his current pole is erected. • I conclude by complaining we already have two enormous poles with significant wings extremely obvious and disgusting to all on their way to the home of Papa Murphy's Pizza. Gentlemen and Gentlewomen I yield.
