AN ORDINANCE FINDING THAT, SAGEWOOD DEVELOPMENT, INC., THE OWNER OF
CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED Y. MILE NORTH OF USTICK ROAD AND
y. MILE EAST OF LINDER ROAD, WITHIN SECTION 36, TOWNSlßP 4 NORTH, RANGE 1
WEST, BOISE MERIDIAN MERIDIAN, IDAHO, TO BE KNOWN AS SIENNA CREEK
SUBDMSION, AND WInCH LIES CONTIGUOUS OR ADJACENT TO THE CITY LIMITS OF
THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, COUNTY OF ADA, STATE OF IDAHO; HAS MADE A REQUEST
FOR ANNEXATION IN WRITING TO THE COUNCIL; AND THAT SAID LAND BE ANNEXED
TO THE CITY OF MERIDIAN AND ZONING DESIGNATED MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL
DISTRICT (R-8); AND DECLARING THAT SAID LAND, BYPROPERLEGAL DESCRIPTION AS
DESCRIBED BELOW, BE APART OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, COUNTY OF ADA, STATE OF
IDAHO; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES, RESOLUTIONS, ORDERS OR PARTS THEREOF IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND DIRECTING THE CITY ENGINEER TO ADD SAID PROPERTY
TO THE OFFICIAL MAPS OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, IDAHO; AND DIRECTING THE CLERK
OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN TO FILE A CERTIFIED COpy OF THE ORDINANCE AND MAP
OF THE AREAS TO BE ANNEXED WITH ADA COUNTY RECORDER, AUDITOR, TREASURER
AND ASSESSOR, AND THE STATE TAX COMMISSION OF THE STATE OF IDAHO,
PURSUANT TO IDAHO CODE SECTION 50-223 AND SECTION 63-2215.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN,
COUNTY OF ADA, STATE OF IDAHO:
SECTION 1. FINDINGS: That the following descnbed land is contiguous and adjacent to the
City of Meridian, Idaho, and that the City ofMeridian has received a written request fur annexation to the
City of Meridian, Idaho, by the owners of said Property, to-wit:
LEGAL DESCRIPTION
A parcel of land located in the Northeast Y. of the Southwest Y. of Section 36, T. 4N., R.l
w., B.M., Ada County, Idaho, more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the Y. corner
common to Section 10fT. 3N., R lW., and the said Section 36, ftom which the Southwest comer
of said Section 36 bears North 88'42'55" West, 2662.17 feet; thence along the North-South mid-

section line North 00'27'41" East, 1328.98 feet to the C-S 1/16 comer and the REAL POINT OF
BEGINNING.
Thence North 88'56'14" West, 666.74 feet to the Southwest comer of the Southeast Y. of the
Northeast Y. of the Southwest y.;
Thence North 00'27'34" East, 18.75 feet;
Thence North 86'56'20" West, 667.41 feet to a point on the West line of the Northeast Y. of
the Southwest y.;
Thence North 00'20'47" East, 1281.78 feet to the C-W 1/16 corner;
Thence South 89'09'21" East, 668.14 feet to the Northeast corner of the West Y. of the
Northeast y. of the Southwest y.;
Thence South 00'24'16" West, 663.17 feet to the Northwest comer of the Southeast Y. of the
Northeast Y. of the Southwest y.;
Thence South 89'03'06" East, 667.24 feet to the Northeast comer of the Southeast Y. of the
Northeast Y. of the Southwest y.;
Thence South 00'27'41" West, 664.49 feet to the Point of Beginning. Containing 30.00
acres, more or less.
SECTION 2: That the above-described real property be, and the same is hereby annexed and
made a part of the City of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho.
SECTION 3: That the real property herein by this ordinance annexed to the City of Meridian
hereinabove described shall be zoned General Retail and Service Commercial District (C-G).
SECTION 4: That the City Engineer is hereby directed to alter all use and area maps as well as
the official zoning maps, comprehensive plan and all official maps depicting the boundaries of the City of
Meridian in accordance with this ordinance.
SECTION 5: All ordinances, resolutions, orders or parts thereofin conflict herewith are hereby
repealed, rescinded and annulled.

SECTION 6: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect ftom and after its passage, approval
and publication, according to law.
SECTION 7: The Clerk of the City of Meridian shall, within ten (10) days following the days
following the effective date of this ordinance, duly file a certified copy of this ordinance and a map
prepared in a draftsman manner plainly and clearly designating the boundaries of the City of Meridian,
including the lands herein annexed, with the following officials of the County of Ada, State ofIdaho, to-
wit: the Recorder, Auditor, Treasurer and Assessor and shall also file simultaneously a certified copy of
this ordinance and map with the State Tax Commission of the State ofIdaho, all in compliance with Idaho
Code §63-2215 and §50-223.
