RE: H-2017-0057 PREAKNESS SUBDIVISION
The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) has reviewed the referenced annexation, zoning,
and preliminary plat application for the Preakness Subdivision at 1155 West Victory Road,
located east of South Linder Road, west of SH-69 (South Meridian Road) milepost 8.17. ITD
has the following comments:
1. ITD does not object to a subdivision being constructed on this parcel.
2. This project does not abut the State highway system.
3. The City is reminded that the SH-69 corridor is already congested. This project will
increase the number of vehicle trips in the corridor. ITD has no current funding
assigned to mitigate traffic congestion in the SH-69 corridor in this area.
4. Idaho Code 40-1910 does not allow advertising within the right-of-way of any State
highway system.
5. IDAPA 39.03.60 rules govern advertising along the State highway system. The
applicant can contact the ITD District 3 Traffic Section at 334-8300 for more
information.
