I would like to provide my input on why this is an issue for topic of discussion: Consumers tend to shop where and when it is most convenient for them, which is on the internet. Most of the direct sales businesses are ran on the internet and provide a mean of income for so many families. This income provides meals and housing for their families! This goes the same for in home day care and pet care. This will have greater impacts then taking the right to perform home based businesses. This will impact who watches your children or fathers mothers etc with special needs. It will cause confusion and make citizens rebel against policy and do it under cover of their own front door in secrecy. Home based businesses will donate their products and time to fundraisers which supports their community when someone is in need, or donates their hard-earned commission to help out a stranger. Now what if YOU were that person who needed help and had nobody donate money or products to a silent auction that would benefit you or a loved one? How about federal or state support in ways of insurance, food stamps, etc. Please put yourself in the shoes of all the home based business owners and look at the adverse effects that may result from your vote to take away that right we all have. Please re-consider this idea and focus on ways to help your people instead of hurt them. Jason Tugby 999-0024 National guard Member of this amazing State.
