Subject:Tonights proposed city ordinance regarding consultants that would have parties in their
home to sell merchandise
Meridian City Council and Mayor Tammy;
It has just come to our attention that the City is proposing significant changes to a City ordinance that would
prohibit parties in any Meridian home for the purpose of selling products and promoting home-based business
opportunities.
What in the world is the City thinking? When has the City decided it has the authority to specify what we can
and can't do in our homes as long as all laws are followed. Scentsy, being one of the largest business in
Meridian and employees many Meridian home owners and is k nown for the many services they provide to the
Meridian community, should be thanked and supported not confronted with this proposal.
This is a big mistake, please nip it in the bud!
