Dear City Council Members,
I urge you to reconsider your proposal on banning home based businesses from having home parties where the
business opportunity is shared. I sell Scentsy part time and have for 6 almost 7 years. I was not forced into or
pressured into selling Scentsy. In fact it took me months to decide to sell. Prior I had sold Avon and Pampered
Chef and been successful in those endeavours as well.
If you have ever met Orville and Heidi Thompson, you would know that they are two of the most genuine
people in the world. Scentsy is responsible for my family having a debt free Christmas for 4 years in a row.
They are responsible for me coming out of my shell and meeting new people and discovering this big world we
live in. I could go on and on, but know that home based businesses bring people together and build strong
leaders. I've met some of my very best friends due to party plan companies.
