BEFORE THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION IN THE MATTER OF THE REQUEST FOR STREET NAME CHANGE FROM EAST 1 ST STREET TO MAIN STREET CITY OF MERIDIAN Applicant ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) Case No. MI-01-001 RECOMMENDATION TO CITY COUNCIL 1. The area requested is located between Cherry Lane/Fairview Avenue south to east Central Drive or Overland Road, Meridian, Idaho. 2. Applicant is City of Meridian. 3. The proposed application requests a street name change for East 1st Street to Main Street. 4. The Meridian Planning and Zoning Commission recognizes that the proposed application is in compliance with the Meridian Comprehensive Plan. 5. The proposed name change requires that the Planning and Zoning Commission approve any name changes as determined by City Policy. RECOMMENDATION 1. The Meridian Planning and Zoning Commission hereby recommends to the City Council of the City of Meridian that they approve the name change subject to the following: RECOMMENDATION TO CITY COUNCIL - 1 REQUEST -- CITY OF MERIDIAN -- STREET NAME CHANGE The Street name is to be characterized north south from Fairview to E. Central Drive.
