Meridian, Icl 88642 (208) 888-1234 , F/~ :(208) 895-03P6~ Meridian Fire Depamrtent March 18, 2002 TO: Meridian City Council The followthg are the requirements to provide min/mum fire protection: 1, Provide a fire-flow as requSred by the 1997 Uniform Fire Code AppendLx III-A. Please show all proximity hydrants within 500' of the project on the constxuction drawings. 2. All comers will have to have 28' inside radius and 48' outside radius on all internal access roads. 3. The proposed building shall comply with the 1997 Un/form Fire Code. 4. Acceptance of water supply for fire protection is contingent upon acceptance of the water system bY the City of Meridian for water quality. The water supply shall be provided before combustible conslxuction begins. Final approval of fire hydrant locations shall by the Fire Department. The external access roadways shall built to Ada County Highway Standards~ UFC 902.2.1 The vertical clearance for the covered loading area shall bel3' 6". RECEIVED City Of Merid/an City Clerk Office
