Bannock Ridge had a neighborhood meeting which I found out about, in an email from the property
management company for Glacier Springs, the day after the meeting was held.
I share a back fence with the lots on the West side.
Please submit my attached letter for the meeting that will be held on May 18th. I will not be attending due to a
disability.
Thank you,
Liz Echanis
Glacier Springs homeowner.

My name is Liz Echanis and I live in Glacier Springs Subdivision. The purpose of this letter is to express
my concerns and some of the impacts development of Bannock Ridge will have on me and my family.
A big concern with a number of people in attendance at the first neighborhood meeting is maintaining
the privacy of those living in Glacier Springs whose properties back up to the Bannock Ridge
development. Currently there are a number of mature trees along the west boundary of the
development providing privacy to homes in Glacier Springs. Removing these trees greatly decreases the
amount of privacy for all homeowners.
The second neighborhood meeting I found out about the day after the meeting from our Property
Manager. I am not aware how the developer addressed the concerns of the neighborhood.
In the current plans, homeowners in Bannock Ridge will share the existing fence of Glacier Springs
homeowners. With the change in elevation between the two subdivisions, homeowners along the west
boundary of Bannock Ridge will have fences shorter than the standard 6’ fence. Contradictory to past
Council meetings minutes which state 8’ fences will be installed for privacy. This must be addressed.
In addition, my neighbors and I are concerned that any trenching needing to be done along our back lot
lines may damage the root system of the mature trees on our properties. We want provisions to cover
any loss or damage to our trees and vegetation resulting from this activity.
Most importantly, at no time should soil be removed or work done which jeopardizes the safety of our
pets. The thought of losing a pet, our family members, is unfathomable.
I ask that you please take into consideration the concerns of those of us who have enjoyed living in
Glacier Springs when making your decisions regarding the Bannock Ridge Development.
Thank you,
Liz Echanis
