Subject: Hasting subdivision #3
Good morning,
In introduction, my name is Tom Rugg, manager of Rugg Land & Livestock LLC which is the owner of record of the
parcel and building located at 2300 W. Everest Ln., Meridian, Idaho. The business park we are located in is adjacent to
the proposed development Hastings #3.
We are already experiencing parking shortages with our six building development, and I have concerns about the
problem being exacerbated by an eleven building development next door on a parcel essentially the same size as our six
building office park location. Traffic numbers on W. Everest Ln. would also be quite high for a development of that size.
Parking problems could be partially mitigated by allowing parking on W. Everest Ln. along with possible removal of
some handicapped spaces in our development. However, until such time as those changes can be accomplished and the
proposed development can show adequate parking for their proposed development, I oppose the approval of the
Hastings #3 development permit.
Regards, Tom Rugg
Manager Rugg Land & Livestock, LLC
