This letter constitutes a ~esl for reconsiÃerlØÌonlclatificnion of the decision made by the
Meridian City Council with. respect to the case r~ed above on September 7, 2004, Because
I understand the Ci'Y otMeridian ¡1o1!$ nol have a coclified procedure for reconsideration we arc
relying en Robert's Rules of Order for tbis process, per Steve Siddoway's clirection.
It is very likely thllt all parties would benefit from a clear statœnent of the decision frOm the City
Council. Bec:aIlBe the decision of the Council W24 not thoroughly discussed. the basis for denial
oftbe applications !.Ii WlClcar. According to Idaho Code 67-6519:
4. Whmtever a governing board or _ng or plamñng and zoning
commission gr l.\lI9 or denies a pemúI. it shall specifY;
(8) The ordiÐmce 3bd mndards used in evaluating the appUcation¡
(b) The reasons for apprøval or denial; and

In this public hearing, mm)' Ì&SUiIS were discassed, however, none of the above were considered
or addressed as a finding for th.D decision.
Obviously, tbe dcveloper j¡¡ disappoinJed with the decision ~d would welcome the opportunity
to make necesaary mcdifications to the pial in order to alfgn this project with the City's vision
for its future.
