Subject:Protest Against Goddard Creek Apartments
Greetings City Clerk:
(and also Attention Bill Parsons, City Planner)
I want to launch a complaint and opposition to the proposed build of approximately 80 apartments, some
three story just south of Selway Apartments with their main access from McMillan onto Goddard and W. Apar
Creek Drive. This area should be single residential only, as we have sufficient multifamily housing in the area
already. Adding additional multi-residential/multifamily buildings would increase the traffic and decrease
safety of the neighborhood. As well, the current roadway infrastructure was not designed or cannot hold the
increase in traffic. Additional, the school systems in the area cannot hold the increase in students as many are
already on a wait list to get into local schools, not can the city police Department properly oversee this area
due the enormous growth we have already experienced. I oppose any additional high density structures in this
area.
