Dear City Clerk and council members,
We understand there are potential plans for MORE apartments on Goddard Creek in our neighborhood. Also there
are potential plans for a storage unit. We are part of many neighbors who agree that Apartments will decrease the
property value of all our homes and pose a safety risk as we already have the Selway apartments right in the same
area.
Please consider the storage unit instead.
The traffic will become horrendous on Goddard Creek if hundreds of more apartments are added. We also have
many children waiting for buses on that street, and increased traffic would be a huge safety risk to them. Right now
Goddard creek is a lovely place to walk your dog, get out to see neighbors and walk to the park. More Apartments
would make this area a thoroughfare and discourage pedestrians and children from going there.
We do NOT want this addition to the entrance of our neighborhood and Kelly Creek. We have enough Apartments!
Many apartment dwellers come and go without much thought of property value, privacy or noise levels and some
have even have broken into homes and cars on the neighboring streets, especially Wapoot. These invasions and
intrusions and theft are because of the apartments being in close proximity to family homes. Please do not double
this risk in our lovely neighborhood.
