As such all conversations with me on the matter need to be part of the public record. I am forwarding this email exchange on to our City Clerk so it may be entered. Thank you again for your comments, Rhonda Sent from my iPhone On Mar 21, 2017, at 10:25 AM, John J. (171 units on a 10 acre section of land that was zoned R4. The Plate was on the will outside the public hearing room!) Over a series of public meetings, where a hard vote was taken upon entrance into the meeting room, the one and only vote in favor of building the apartments was the vote from the developer, who happened to live in Spokane, WA. EVERY OTHER vote was against building the apartments. Since the creation of the apartments from hell, we now have traffic problems on Goddard Creek, we have vehicles that cut thru the subdivision on Apgar Creek at high rates of speed past the park and playground and crime in the area has risen to the point that it is almost immeasurable! (To include vehicle burglaries from my car twice in the last year) Now, City Planning Department has received a plan to add 80+ apartments adjacent to the Selway Hell Hole. 2 I can tell you that the residents are NOT in favor of this action and further lowering the quality of life that we once enjoyed.
