Dear Pastor Scott Harrop:
Thank you for hosting a most informative planning meeting last evening. My wife Donna and I
live in the closest home to the development and will be the most impacted by the traffic, noise
and congestion at the "Main Entrance" which is located just across the street from our house.
We believe you when you say that the church wants to be "a good neighbor." Thus, we would
like you to consider improving your development plan in the following ways:
1. Create a "High Landscaped Berm" along Chinden Boulevard, not the "Low Landscaped
Berm" indicated on the plot plan. This is for your benefit as well as all of SpurWing. The
high road noise off Chinden is already a problem and will only worsen as the population
grows and Chinden is widened.
2. Create a large landscaped berm along N. Tree Haven Way from N. Tree Farm Way to
your "Secondary Entrance." This would work to block noise and the negative visual
impact of a paved parking lot
3. Make the "Secondary Entrance" off Chinden Boulevard the main focus as the Church's
primary entrance and modify the plan making the existing "Main Entrance" a
"Secondary Entrance." This would provide quicker and more direct access to the church
and avoid the large bottleneck that will occur at N. Tree Farm Way, the only ingress and
egress for all of SpurWing Greens.
These changes would improve access to the church, reduce noise on the church campus, and
add to the esthetic beauty surrounding the church. It would also make the church a more
welcome "good neighbor" in the SpurWing Green community.
Sincerely,
Bob and Donna Ebert

This is in regard to to the rezoning application submitted by Rock Harbor
Church. First. of all let me say as an adjoining property owner that I'm generally
in favor of the proposal and look forward to the Church occupying the
proposed property. However, I have a couple of design concerns and solutions
I'd like to bring to your attention.
1. Landscape berms...... I'd like to see adequate / substantial berms both on
Tree Haven NNTay and Chunden. This will help reduce the noise and also hide
the parking lot a bit..
2. Egress to Chinden.... I'd like to see another way in and out to Chiunden other
than using Tree Haven'Way and Tree Fram as the only entrance and exit..
If you have further questions or would like to discuss this further with me
please feel free to contact me anytime.
Sincerely
Dan Bojanowski
