We moved in to our home in November 2016. We had owned the lot for a few years prior with the plans 2 to build our dream home. We chose this subdivision for it's large lots estate feel and more space. Originally we lived in Tuscany- where all homes practically touch each other. We have heard the plans for the new East Ridge Estates below are subdivision and i'm greatly against the developer asking for zoning changes of the land below us to be R-15. I do not want apartment, townhouses etc... below us and in the entrance to our subdivision. When we bought our lot we where told the lots below would be larger similar home/lot sizes to current Sky Mesa. I have seen the proposed plat and lot size legend and these are much smaller in size and extremely dense- very similar to Tuscany that we just moved from. This will change this whole area and drop my property value significantly. The city should keep continuity between our neighborhood and not allow for this high density in our area it will have a huge negative impact upon the existing homeowners. I ask that you deny and send back to planning and zoning for further revisions to create a neighborhood better suited to the existing neighbrohood. Thank you for your time.
