Subject: East Ridge Estates' City Council Sign
Mr. Beach,
Thank you for meeting me on the 27th in regards to the Notice of City Council Hearing sign for the East Ridge
Estates Development on Lake Hazel Rd being down.
i. The sign had been down for over a week at the time of our meeting.
ib. The sign for the Planning and Zoning Commission Hearing had been down for at least 2 weeks prior to that
hearing.
ii. The signage h as been placed in an obscure spot. It would be much preferred if the sign was moved at least 5ft
to the East in which the sign would be more visible to both East and West bound traffic. Currently the East
Bound traffic can only see the very top of the sign. Furthermore, should the sign be moved it would be closer to
the road by an additional 10 ft approx., creating greater visibility not only for the East bound traffic but the
West as well.
iii. As we discussed sandbags or a weighting method of some sort would be very useful as this again is not the
first time this sign has blow over.
I appreciate your time and your assistance in ensuring that the City Council is aware of this unfortunate setback.
