RE: H-2017-0022 VICENZA SUBDIVISION NO. 6
The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) has reviewed the referenced final plat application for
Vicenza Subdivision No. 6 located east of Black Cat Road, north of West McMillan Road, south of
US-20/26 (Chinden Boulevard) milepost 35.63, for Cottonwood Development. ITD has the following
comments:
1. ITD has no objections to the final plat for the subdivision being constructed in this location.
2. The project does not abut the State highway system.
3. Idaho Code 40-1910 does not allow advertising within the right-of-way of any State highway
system.
4. IDAPA 39.03.60 rules govern advertising along the State highway system. The applicant can
contact the ITD District 3 Traffic Section at 334-8300 for more information.
5. The City is reminded that the US-20/26 (Chinden Boulevard) corridor is already congested.
This project will increase the number of vehicle trips in the corridor. ITD has no current
funding assigned to mitigate traffic congestion in the US-20/26 (Chinden Boulevard) corridor
in this area.
