RE: Opposition to East Ridge Estates

Dear Mayor Tammy deWeerd and inembers of City Council:
This letter is being written to ask you to NOT ALLOW DevCo to attempt to re -zone and build
homes on small lot sizes.
WE, adjoining this development in BLACKROCK, have almost all lots approaching 1 acre.
DevCo's plan will most certainly have a negative effect on our homes' values.
My husband and I built and moved to BLACKROCK ESTATES as it appealed to us as being an
area of larger lots and larger homes. BLACKROCK ESTATES is similar to SPURWING
ES'T'ATES.
DevCo's proposal will destroy our dreams.
Please deny the DevCo application that has been submitted, and require that PLANNING &
ZONING make such revisions that will create a neighborhood better suited to the existing
neighborhood that identifies with Meridian's Southern Rim.
In addition, their proposal will also create concerns for our children due to the substantial amount
of traffic that will occur.
Mayor, Council, and others involved, please consider this plea for your help and assistance in
this matter.
