RE: H-2017-0015 MELISSA’S DAYCARE
The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) has reviewed the hearing application for request for a
conditional use permit referenced above for a daycare group for up to 12 children in an R-8 zoning district by
Laurie Gallia, located at 523 East Brown Bear, west of SH-55 (Eagle Road) milepost 13.55. ITD has the
following comments:
1. ITD has no objection to the conditional use for a daycare in this location.
2. This property does not abut the State highway system.
3. Idaho Code 40-1910 does not allow advertising within the right-of-way of any State highway
system.
4. IDAPA 39.03.60 rules govern advertising along the State highway system. The applicant can
contact the ITD District 3 Traffic Section at 334-8300 for more information.
