RE: H-2017-0023 VOLTERRA HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION NO. 3
The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) has reviewed the referenced final plat application for the
Volterra Heights Subdivision No. 3 located west of N. Ten Mile Road and south of W. McMillan
Road south of US-20/26 (Chinden Blvd.), milepost 36.16. ITD has the following comments:
1. ITD does not object to the construction of a subdivision on this parcel.
2. This project does not abut the State highway system.
3. Idaho Code 40-1910 does not allow advertising within the right-of-way of any State highway.
4. IDAPA 39.03.60 rules govern advertising along the State highway system. The applicant can
contact the ITD District 3 Traffic Section at 334-8300 for more information.
5. The City is reminded that the US-20/26 Corridor is already congested. This project may
increase the number of vehicle trips in the corridor. ITD has no current funding assigned to
mitigate traffic congestion in the US-20/26 corridor in this area.
