This project will affect NMID's Ridenbaugh Canal and Eight Mile Drain. The District's Ridenbaugh Canal will border this project on the west and south sides. The easement for the Ridenbaugh Canal at this location is a minimum of one hundred feet (100'); '=ty feet (50') from centerline each direction. This easement must be protected. Historically, this area has had ground water issues. We are concerned with the new residential subdivision planned for this area next to the canal in its current unlined condition. Absolutely no gradin below the Ridenbaugh Canal will be tolerated without the Districts written consent. The Eight Mile Drain runs through the center of this property with and easement of sixty feet (60'); thirty feet (30') from centerline each direction. NMID will withhold further comment until we are finished with our review. All private laterals and waste ways must be protected- All municipal -surface drainaf:e must be retained on-site.
