RE: H-2016-0135 BOROUGH SUBDIVISION SHP
The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) has reviewed the referenced short plat application for 1288 East
Everest Street located south of West Chinden Boulevard (US-20/26 milepost 39.00). ITD has the following
comments:
1. ITD has no objections to the short plat of the property at this location.
2. ITD has completed a corridor study of US-20/26. The corridor study shows the proposed future
alignment and intersection design for Chinden Boulevard and Locust Grove Road. The proposed
alignment moves to the south in this area. A view of the corridor study plan for this area can be found

3. The City is reminded that the US-20/26 Corridor is already congested. This project may increase the
number of vehicle trips in the corridor. ITD has no current funding assigned to widen US-20/26.
4. No access to the State Highway system is requested with this application and none is approved.
Connection to or modification of an existing access to the State Highway system will require a permit
from ITD.
5. Idaho Code 40-1910 does not allow advertising within the right-of-way of any State highway system.
6. IDAPA 39.03.60 rules govern advertising along the State highway system. The applicant can contact
the ITD District 3 Traffic Section at 334-8300 for more information.
