RE: H-2016-0133 SOUTHRIDGE SUBDIVISION NO. 3
The Idaho Transportation Department has reviewed the referenced final plat application for the Southridge
Subdivision No. 3 located south of W. Overland Road and west of S. Linder Road, south of I-84, milepost 42.9.
ITD has the following comments:
1. ITD has does not object to the construction of a subdivision on the parcel described in the application.
2. This property does not abut the State highway system.
3. Idaho Code 40-1910 does not allow advertising within the right-of-way of any State highway.
4. IDAPA 39.03.60 rules govern advertising along the State highway system. The applicant can contact
the ITD District 3 Traffic Section at 334-8300 for more information.
5. The City is reminded that the SH-69 corridor is already congested in the Meridian area. This project
will increase the number of vehicle trips in the corridor. ITD has no current funding assigned to
mitigate traffic congestion in the SH-69 corridor in that area.
