RE: H-2016-0132 UNA MAS VERRASO VILLAGE 3
The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) has reviewed the referenced application for a
modification to the development agreement to allow a reduced buffer width for the Una Mas
Subdivision located on the southwest corner of North Records Avenue and East Tecate Lane, east of
SH-55 (Eagle Road) milepost 14.00 for Chad Olsen. ITD has the following comments:
1. ITD has no objections to the modification to the development agreement to allow a reduced
buffer width for the subdivision being constructed in this location.
2. The project does not abut the State highway system.
3. Idaho Code 40-1910 does not allow advertising within the right-of-way of any State highway
system.
4. IDAPA 39.03.60 rules govern advertising along the State highway system. The applicant can
contact Dion Burch at 334-8355 for more information.
5. The City is reminded that the SH-55 (Eagle Road) Corridor is already congested. This project
will increase the number of vehicle trips in the corridor. ITD has no current funding assigned to
mitigate traffic congestion in the SH-55 (Eagle Road) corridor in this area.
