Leeshire Subdivision - Planning and Zoning Review Comments
Dear Mayor and Council;
With regards to the comments by the City Staff and Planning and Zoning Commission for the
Leeshire Subdivision annexation and zoning, preliminary plat and PD applications that will be before
you on the September 7th hearing, please except the following reply to those comments.
Annexation and ZoniIw: Comments:
All comments by staff are acceptable to the applicant. The applicant has agreed to change the
zoning designation of the C-N proposal to an 1-0 designation.
Site Specific Conditions of Approval - Preliminary Plat Comments:
1. OK;
2. OK, The landscape plan is currently being revised. A copy will be provided to staff prior to
final City Council approval of preliminary plat and/or Annexation Ordinance;
3. OK;
4. OK, As discussed with Public Works, an 8" water loop will be provided for a portion of the
site. The applicants representative will be available for comment at hearing on this matter;
5. OK;
6. OK, (Settlers Irrigation District);
7. OK, The applicants representative will verbally detail fencing at the public hearing;
8. OK;
9. OK; (owner shall be responsible)
10. OK, Preliminary Plat has been revised and submitted to City Clerk;
11. OK;
12. OK;
13. OK, Updated by applicant with input fum neighbors. This update is hereby attached and will
be discussed in detail at public hearing by applicants representative;
General Comments-Preliminarv Plat
All general/standard conditions of approval are agreed upon by the applicant. This includes
adopted AGIO conditions with clarification that interior detached sidewalks shall be 4'.
Central District Health Department Conditions
All CDH recommended conditions of approval are agreed upon by the applicant.
Settlers Irrigation District Comments
All SID conditions of approval are agreed upon by the applicant.
Sauitary Services Companv Comments
All SSC conditions of approval are agreed upon by the applicant. The applicant met with SSC
and drafted the conditions that have been recommended.
Site Specific Conditions for Conditional Use Pennit Comments
1. OK;

3. OK;
4. OK, fencing to be discussed by applicants representative at public hearing;
5. OK, this has been revised on the preliminary plat submitted to the City Clerk;
6. OK;

Meridian Fire Department Conditions Comments
All fire department conditions of approval are agreed upon by the applicant.
Parks Department Conditions Comments
All park department conditions of approval are agreed upon by the applicant. It is the
applicants understanding ftom the action of the P&Z commission and staffrecommendations
that the pathway originally proposed within the development has been eliminated.
Any additional comments and recommendations contained in the Staff Report are hereby deemed
acceptable to the applicant upon approval by the Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council.
Please include our comments as part of the record for Leeshire Subdivision. Please contact me if any
questions may arise.
