My name is Bob Hurtt and t live at 1439 N. Leslie Way, Meridian, adjacent to the purposed Sadie Creek Subdivision. As a
homeowner in the Carol sub I am opposed to the high density proposal. We are a one unit per acre rural subdivision. To
hava 120 units on six acres backed right up to us with no transition would be detrimental to the home owners in the Carol
sub. Both in value and in aesthetics. All these proposed units wiD be rentals. nol homeowners. My experience as a Realtor
and a landlord tells me what we could expect from t.11Is development in the future if it Is allowed. Renters will net take care
of their homes and property managelS are slow to respond to maintenance and other possible Issues that arise commonly
in a complex of this size, Please allow YQursetfto be put in our shoes and consider what it would be like to have 120 rental
units in your backyard. If this Is approved, the South 13 acres that border many more of the homeowners on Leslie, would
also be developed In a similar manner. This could mean as many as 400 rental units could end up in our backyards. Tell
me what you think would happen to the resale value of these homes. Again as a Realtor in the valley for 11 years, I have
had to sell homes in similar circumstances and the values were substantially affected negatively. Thank you for your time
in considering this matter, and I will be present at the scheduled hearing, Tuesday 917104 to support our opposition to this
development.
Sincerely,
Bob Hurtt
