I have 3 children, a 12 year old daughter, 9 year old son and an 18 month old son. We moved to this neighborhood 2.5 years ago because it is a family friendly neighborhood where we could let our children ride their bikes to the park and to their friends homes. We love to be outside and on our street, there are several homes with basketball hoops where the kids congregate to play together. We specifically bought on this street because we noticed that there were no plans for there to be a through street, there has never been a sign indicating that there would be a through street like other streets we have seen in the neighborhood. As a parent you can understand my concern with this Plaza going in and specifically this proposed street from Eagle Road that connects to Mount Etna, I want my children to be able to play outside and not have to worry about all that extra traffic that will be diverted down our street. Eagle road is already very congested and the access into this Plaza from Eagle road will be a nightmare to deal with. The round a bout can't handle the amount of traffic that will be flowing out of this Plaza and not to mention the amount of traffic that will start to turn onto Montague from Amity. Montague is a very skinny road that already has problems just for the neighborhood, so adding even more traffic is a safety concern for our children who get on and off the bus on that corner every day. We also believe that this proposed Plaza will affect the value of our homes, we have already had neighbors put their homes up for sale when they heard that there was a possibility that this Plaza was going to be built. We want the Tuscany neighborhood to be a place where people want to live and visit, not avoid. Please help us keep our neighborhood family friendly. Thank you for your time, 2 Katie
