Subject: Tuscany concerns
Dear Mr. Goldthorp
After attending the meeting and going over the proposals, I am extremely worried about the
plans to funnel all that traffic through our neighborhood. Our elementary is a walking school.
Every child in the entire neighborhood is walking every morning and afternoon all over the
neighborhood. I have been informed by Mr. Bruce Wong, the
Director of Ada County Highway District, that "this is a proposed rezone and then a proposed
preliminary plat. The ACHD Commissioners are in a recommendation role for the rezone and in
a decision role for the preliminary plat." I am pleading that you DO NOT recommend there be a
rezone. If Eagle and Amity can't support the proposed increase in traffic, then I am respectfully
requesting that the rezone not take place. Our neighborhood(development) should not have to
sacrifice the safety of our young children so that another development can shove in and
REZONE for profit.
