Dear City of Meridian:
Nampa & Meridian Irrigation District (NMID) has finished its review of your. proposed sign
placement in Meridian, which affects the District's Kennedy Lateral.
NMID will need a more detailed set of plans showing where the centerline of the Kennedy
Lateral is, in relation to where the sign will be placed. The placement of the sign appears to be
in the District's easement and therefore would require a License Agreement.
The easement for the Kennedy Lateral at this location is a minimum of fifty-five feet (55');
twenty feet (20') left, and thirty-five feet right from the centerline, facing downstream.
Please send revised plans with more detail for NMID's review. Should you have any question
regarding this letter, please feel free to give me a call.
