Dear Julie:
Your request has been received by the Mayor’s Office. We appreciate you contacting us to let us know of your concerns
for the proposed development in your area. ACHD is the agency that is required by the city to evaluate and approve the
planned roadways in developments. Once an application is made by the developer, Mayor and Council are only able to
make comments during the public hearing. I will forward your comments to our City Clerk for the record and it will be
included in the packet the Mayor and Council members receive for the public hearing. Please voice your concerns to
ACHD as well, as they are also part of the public approval process. You can contact Kent Goldthorpe at ACHD. He is the
elected official from the District you live in. His email address is kgoldthorpe@achdidaho.org .
I have copied Josh Beach, the staff member assigned to this project. He will be able to answer any questions you may
have regarding the proposed development. Thank you for your comments and being part of the public process.

Subject: Ask Mayor Tammy - From Internet
Dear Mayor Tammy, I live on a street in the Tuscany Subdivision (Mount Etna Drive) that is going to possibly
be connecting to Eagle Road once a shopping center is built on Eagle and Amity. This would devastate my
children and I, since we bought our house on a quiet street and are now faced with becoming a thoroughfare to a
really busy road. I have been to all the meetings and plan to go to more, but is this an issue you can help our
neighborhood with? We are not against the shopping center, but we are against connecting our street though to
Eagle Road. With the safety of our children at stake, and the fact that there are houses facing the street all the
way through, connecting our road and making it a busy street as people look for shortcuts out is not the wisest
move but we need help and support to convince the developer and ACHD of that as well. Just a worried mother
looking for support in government! Thanks for your time, Julie Geisbush
