Subject:RE: Postpone Firenze Plaza Hearing Request
Mr. Mutell,
The Clerk’s Office is in receipt of your email concerning the Firenze Plaza project. We will be sure to include your
comments and concerns into the public record for the Commissioners’ review and consideration at the upcoming public
hearing. I would also like to note that this project will be heard at the Ada County Highway District (ACHD) on December
14, 2016, prior to our PZ Commission public hearing. I believe the start time of their meetings are 6pm. However, I
would encourage you to contact ACHD for further information regarding their processes. They may be reached at 208-
387-6350.

Subject: Postpone Firenze Plaza Hearing Request
Mr. Hood;
I would like you to consider postponing the public hearing for the Firenze Plaza Development currently scheduled for
December 15th. We are expecting a significant number of residents living in the Tuscany subdivision will want to address
the planning commission at this hearing. However, the ACHD public hearing is currently scheduled for the prior evening
(December 14th). We are expecting a similar number of residents will want to address the issues at that hearing also.
Depending upon what happens at the ACHD meeting, we will have little time to react prior to your hearing the next
evening. Additionally, with the proximity to the holidays, need for babysitters two nights in a row, and other commitments
our residents might face, we feel that turnout to one or both of these hearings would be impacted negatively. We hope
that in the interest of fairness you will postpone the December 15th hearing to a later date. I appreciate your
consideration of this matter and would hope that you will be able to respond quickly so that we may begin notifying the
residents.
Thank you.
