Your request has been received by the Mayor’s Office. We appreciate you contacting us to let us know of your concerns
for the proposed development in your area project. I will forward your comments to our City Clerk for the record and to
be included in the packet the Mayor and Council members receive for the public hearing. Once an application is made,
Mayor and Council are only able to make comments during the public hearing. It sounds like you have taken steps to
discuss your concerns with Ada County Highway District. This is a great start as they are also part of the public approval
process
I have copied Josh Beach, the staff member assigned to this project. He will be able to answer any questions you may
have regarding the proposed development. Thank you for your comments and being part of the public process.
The assigned Councilmember for your area is Councilman Luke Cavener. He can discuss the process with you but is
unable to answer specific questions regarding this development outside of the public meeting.

Message My husband and I live in Tuscany subdivision and are trying to stop the extension of Mount Etna
Drive through this proposed Albertsons commercial center and into our quiet neighborhood. We
were able to get the Meridian P&Z hearing on 11/3 delayed while we work with ACHD. We need to
know if we have a specific council representative for this subdivision of 1170 homes? Or can we set
up a brief meeting with Mayor Tammy to express our concerns about the safety of our children
should Mount Etna Drive become a commercial collector through our neighborhood.
