To Whom it may concern:
My husband, Matt Huff, and I, Serena Huff, along with our 4 young children (8 yrs and younger)
live within 100 yards of the proposed extension of Burgo St. In the Tuscany subdivision. We are
concerned about extending our neighborhood streets to the commercial development proposed
for the northwest corner of Eagle & Amity Roads. We feel that connecting our existing
neighborhood roads to the commercial development will significantly increase the amount of
traffic near our home in an unnecessary and possibly unsafe way. We would urge those with
decision making power to refrain from rezoning this area for commercial use, or at the very least,
prevent the construction of any connecting streets between the commercial development and
neighborhood streets. Keeping the commercial space separate from neighborhood streets would
be consistent for most if not all neighborhood/corner markets in our community. We feel
separation of the market from our neighborhood would help reduce the impact on traffic flow
down Burgo, a street where our children play and ride their bikes daily to and from school.
Zaldia is already quite busy for them to cross on their way to school, and we'd hate to see Traffic
increase further along their route.
Thank you for your consideration of the requests of those in our neighborhood to keep our
residential streets separate from any commercial access to this development.
