CALL TO ORDER /ROLL CALL: The President will call the meeting to order and will call roll. CONSENT AGENDA: X Mito Alonzo X Shelley Bartlett X John Nesmith - Approval of the minutes from the November 15, 2006 meeting. * APPROVED - Review November Commission Actions: ACKNOWLEDGED - South Ridge Development -Approved by Comm /Move to C/C for Approval. * - City Hall Plaza -Approved and Endorsed by the Commission. * IV. SKATE PARK RULES DISCUSSED The Mayor's Youth Advisory Council will update the commission on ideas they have in regards to enforcement, alternative types of rules and approaches at Tully Skate Pazk. V. PARK SIGNING AND NAMING DISCUSSED John Nesmith will discuss and update the commission on the directional park signs and the Mayors request for naming the MYB/S complex or field after Trace Leighton. VI. PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION ELECTIONS The commission will select a President and Vice President for 2007. ELECTIONS HELD - PRESIDENT, BRUCE MACCOY and VICE PRESIDENT JOHN NESMTI'H VII. FUTURE TOPICS: - Parks Department to bring costs back to January 2007 meeting of fencing the skate park with 4' fence bolted to concrete. - Park Naming Ordinance resolution stating no park can be named after the subdivision.
