Adoption of the Agenda: Motion made to adopt the agenda as presented by Dr. F. Thomason; seconded by C. Harms. All ayes — agenda adopted — No further discussion. 3. Approval of the May 9 and June 13, 2013 Minutes: Motion made to approve the minutes with one correction to item 8b on June 13, 2013 by Dr. F. Thomason; seconded by B. Johnston. All ayes — Adopted with one edit — No further discussion 4. Approval of the Monthly Financial Statement: Motion made to approve the financial statement as presented by Dr. F. Thomason; seconded by Dr. T. Hammond. All ayes — approved — No further discussion 5. Current City Applications (Review and Comment): No updates to provide 6. Historical Society and History Center Update by Lila Hill: Full report on File 7. Old Business: None 8. New Business a. Preservation Plan Scope of Work Approval: Motion made to approve the scope as presented by Dr. T. Hammond; seconded by Dr. F. Thomason. All ayes — approved — No further discussion. Meridian Historic Preservation Commission Meeting — July 11, 2013 Page 1 of 2 All materials presented at public meetings shall become property of the City of Meridian. Anyone desiring accommodation for disabilities related to documents and / or hearings, please contact the City Clerk's Office at 888-4433 at least 48 hours prior to the public meeting. b. Others: Chairman Turney notified the group of some mail received. Preservation Idaho copied the Meridian HPC on a letter that was sent to the owners of the McFadden property urging them to look for ways to restore the property. A copy of that letter will be kept on file. 9. Discussion of Upcoming Projects for 2013 and Public Outreach Concerts on Broadway Participation: The Commissioners discussed attending the concert on July 20th and handing out brochures. If a commissioner is available he/she will contact J. Jones to provide materials. b. Discussion of National Historic Preservation Conference: Dr. T. Hammond is available and would like to attend the conference. Motion made to approve a not -to -exceed amount of $2,500. 00 for attendance at the conference Dr. F. Thomason; seconded by B. Johnston. All ayes — Approved — No further discussion G. Others: None 10. Next Meeting: Thursday, July 11, 2013 (Correction: August 8, 2013) a.
