COMMISSION MEETING

2. Adoption of the Agenda: Motion made to adopt the agenda as presented by
Dr. F. Thomason; seconded by C. Harms. All ayes — agenda adopted — No
further discussion.
3. Approval of the Monthly Financial Statement: Motion made to approve the
financial statement as presented by Dr. F. Thomason; seconded by Dr. T.
Hammond. All ayes — agenda adopted — No further discussion.
4. FY2014 Budget Update: B. Nary informed the Commission that they budget for
FY2014 will remain the same as FY2013 and has been relayed to Finance.
5. Current City Applications (Review and Comment): No updates to provide
6. Historical Society and History Center Update by Lila Hill: Full report on File
7. Old Business
a. CLG Grant Status Update: J. Jones informed the Commission that the
CLG Grant application has been withdrawn and they can reapply in
October 2013.
b. Idaho Sesquicentennial and Preservation Month Wrap -Up:
Commissioners discussed Preservation Month. The presentations were
all very well done and well received. The attendance was low but the
material was wonderful. The Commissioners discussed that it may be a
good idea to move the presentations until later in the summer as May can

be a busy time for families at the end of the school year. The
Commissioners will discuss preparation for the 2014 event in January and
complete a schedule at that time.
c. Comprehensive Plan Update: J. Jones informed the Commission that
as no changes to the Comprehensive Plan were requested the City will
move forward with HPC's action items as listed.
8. New Business
a. Preservation Plan Discussion: Dr. T Hammond motioned to move
forward with contacting TAG for a Scope of Work to complete the first part
of the Preservation Plan for the not -to -exceed amount of $2,500. 00, -
seconded by Dr. F. Thomas. All ayes — motion approved. J. Jones and B.
Nary will work with TAG to schedule a meeting and insure that a scope is
ready to approve during the July meeting.

9. Discussion of Upcoming Projects for 2013 and Public Outreach
a. Concerts on Broadway Participation: The first concert event is on June
22, 2013 and starts at 7 pm. The Commissioners will contact J. Jones if
available to network that evening and she will make materials to distribute
available.

10. Next Meeting: Thursday, July 11, 2013
a. Discussion of Possible Meeting Topics: C. Harms discussed the 2013
National Preservation Conference in October. The conference is in
Indianapolis and early registration closes at the end of July. Dr. T.
Hammond may consider attending the conference. J. Jones will provide
more information including costs for the July meeting.
