I. Roll call:
President Mary Jensen called the meeting to order at 3:40 p.m. and called roll.

Also present were Mayor Tammy de Weerd and Deputy City Attorney Emily Kane.
2. Adoption of the agenda
Mary asked that the agenda be amended by the addition of item 3, strategic planning scheduling.
Dwight moved that the agenda be amended accordingly and adopted. Nancy seconded the
motion. Vote in favor of the motion was unanimous.
3. Strategic Planning Scheduling
The commission agreed to meet on Saturday, November 16 for the Strategic Planning Retreat.
The meeting will be on Saturday in order to include Dakota. Mary informed Emily that City staff
would be required.
4. Jury proposals for 2014 Initial Point Gallery series
MAC reviewed and discussed the twenty-eight proposals submitted in response to the Call to
Artists for the 2014 Initial Point Gallery series. The following submissions were selected for
display in the gallery: Art Expressions, Suzanne Chetwood, Earth Vision Art, Gypsy Gallery, Idaho
Photographic Arts, Idaho Watercolor Society, Joyce Green Class, Nampa Art Guild, New Group,
Laurel Lake McGuire, Sherri Stehle, Cara Stone, Angela Kathleen Stout, and Barbara and Dwight
Williams. The commission authorized Dwight to work with the selected artists to schedule their
shows in the gallery.
5. Adjourn
Dwight moved that the meeting be adjourned. Nancy seconded the motion. Vote in favor of the
motion was unanimous. Mary adjourned the meeting at 6:00 p.m.
