A meeting of the Meridian City Council was called to order at 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, October
18, 2016, by Mayor Tammy de Weerd.
Members Present: Mayor Tammy de Weerd, Keith Bird, Joe Borton, Anne Little Roberts,
and Ty Palmer.
Others Present: Bill Nary, C.Jay Coles
Members Absent: Genesis Milam (arrived at 4:32) and Luke Cavener

Bird: Motion to adopt the agenda.
Borton: Second.
DeWeerd: Motion and a second to approve the agenda. All in favor?
MOTION CARRIED: ALL AYES.
Item 3: Executive Session per Idaho State Code 74 -206(1)(f) To communicate
with legal counsel for the public agency to discuss the legal
ramifications of and legal options for pending litigation and 74 -206A
(1)(a) a governing body or its designated representatives may hold an
executive session for the specific purpose of: (a) Considering a labor
contract offer or to formulate a counteroffer
Bird: Motion to go into executive session per Idaho State Cord 74 -206A (1)(f) and 74-
206A(1)(a).
Borton: Second.
De Weerd: Motion and second to go into executive session.
