Broadway Avenue Meridian, Idaho 83642 VIA EMAIL RE: H-2016-0109 FP SWINDELL SUBIVISION The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) has reviewed the referenced final plat application for the Swindell Subdivision at the northwest corner of East Overland Road and South Locust Grove Road, south of I-84. ITD has the following comments: 1. ITD has no objection to a subdivision being constructed in this location. 2. No access to the State Highway system is requested with this application and none is approved. 3. Idaho Code 40-1910 does not allow advertising within the right-of-way of any State highway system. 4. IDAPA 39.03.60 rules govern advertising along the State highway system. The applicant can contact Dion Burch at 334-8355 for more information. Jay: Nampa & Meridian Irrigation District (NMID) requires that a Land Use Change Application be filed, for review, prior to final platting. Please contact Suzy Hewlett at 466-7861 for further information. Please be advised the District's Nine Mile Drain courses through this proposed project and must be protected. The easement for the Nine Mile Drain at this location is a minimum of sixty feet (60'); thirty feet (30') from centerline each direction. This easement must be protected. Any encroachment without a signed License Agreement and approved plan before any construction is started is unacr°e-ptable. All municipal surface drainage must be retained on site. If this development is under a "rush" to be finalized, I would recommend that you submit a cashier's check, money order or cash as payment of the fees in order to speed the process up. If you submit a company or personal check, it must clear the bank before processing the application. Should this development be planning a pressure urban irrigation system that will be owned, operated and maintained by the Irrigation District, I strongly urge you to coordinate with Greg G. Curtis, Water Superintendent for the Irrigation District, concerning the installation of the pressure system. Enclosed is a questionnaire that you must fill out and return in order to initiate the process of contractual agreements between the owner or developer and the Irrigation District for the ownership, operation and maintenance of the pressure urban irrigation system.
